As a grassroots, home-grown collaborative learning program, we are always looking for people to contribute their talents and time to helping the younger generation learn and grow. What things can you teach a child? Maybe you have a skill or specialized knowledge in a subject that you'd like to share. We are also looking for donations of materials and supplies as we are a small program that does not receive outside funding. Do you have books, art supplies, office supplies, toys, games, or other educational items that you no longer use? Consider making a donation and a difference! As the educational climate shifts in our nation toward more non-traditional, student-focused, child-lead learning, many grassroots, collaborative learning programs such as Wellspring will become more popular among the school-free population. To maintain our educational autonomy, we will not seek state or federal funding for our programs, and thus will need the generous support of our parents, teachers, counselors, and volunteers.
